Fish Days are here at your local Farm King!
We will be receiving your fish orders from local fishery Nemo Bait and Fisheries! Orders must be submitted to your store pick-up location at least two days in advance of delivery date (14 Days prior if ordering Grass Carp at Macomb or Canton).
Delivery Schedule PricingHandling Your Fish
The day of fish pickup you must bring large garbage cans or stock tanks with fresh pond or lake water. Be sure not to use tap water or city water, as the chlorine will kill the fish. Five gallon buckets may be used on small Catfish, Bass or Bluegill at the rate of 25-35 fish per bucket.
When you get the fish to their final destination, it is best to acclimate the fish to your pond temperature slowly rather than dumping them in. Float the bucket or garbage can in the pond and mix the water slowly for the next few minutes before releasing your fish.
The fish need to be stocked in your pond as soon as possible after they are picked up. The longer the fish are in a non-oxygenated container the more death loss will occur.
